Olympics: What to watch this weekend
THE Olympics explodes into life today, and a number of Bucks stars are in action in the next few days.
Below are a few events with familiar names to set your watch for.
Swimming: Simon Burnett competes in the 4x100m heats on Sunday, from 9.10pm, with the final taking place on Monday, 11.20am.
Rowing: Katherine Grainger (Women's quads, 4.30pm) and Sarah Winckless (Women's eights, 5.20pm) compete in their heats on Sunday.
Hockey: Chloe Rogers and the Women's GB Hockey team play their first group match of the Olympics on Sunday, 9pm, against Germany.
Cycling: Nicole Cooke, trained by High Wycombe Cycling Club president Gordon Wright, goes for gold in the Womens' Road Race on Sunday morning, from 7am.
