McCracken: We can't afford a play-off hang-over

BLUES skipper David McCracken has warned his team-mates against a hangover from last-season's play-off semi-final defeat.

He said: "We can't afford to suffer any hangover. To reach the play-offs and not get through was a big disappointment but these are the things that test you.

"I was still thinking about it when I was away on holiday and I'm sure all the other lads were, but we have got to put it out of our minds and push on.

"The gaffer has brought in a few players, there has been a shuffle around and we've got to try and achieve the same again and a little bit better. I'm confident we can.

"The pre-season results haven't been what we would have wanted but it has been progressing well and we're ready."
