Climbing Everest twice - no problem

TWO High Wycombe cyclists are set to tackle the 850-kilometre Trans Germany Mountain Bike Race.

Paul Morrissey, 45, and Neil Wragg, 37, are taking on the race to raise money for the local Child Bereavement chairy.

During the eight-day race they will ride from the German border with Luxembourg in the west all the way across the bavarian Mountain Race to germany's Czech border in the old East Germany.

The race involves 55,774 feet of climbing - which is the equivalent to climbing Mount Everest twice.

They will join riders from all over the world including the German and Canadian national champions in the race which will be shown live on German television daily and also on Eurosport .
